Is social media going to give me instant results?

This question is asked a lot. The short answer? No. The chance of you posting for the first time and getting 1,000 followers and 20 purchases, is extremely slim. However, I am not saying it takes years. Social media is something much like your audience, you have to look after. Think of it as a baby plant. You have to water it every day, make sure it has the right amount of sunlight etc. Social media is the same, you have to be consistent with your content, and you have to engage with other accounts. I have seen clients within their two months, go from no engagement with 200 followers to 1400 with 20 people engaging per post. However, by sticking at it when you may find that it takes a lot of time and effort, the rewards are worth it. It is constant brand awareness with lots of different trigger points too. If you show up, so will your audience.
