First off; did you see how Logan Paul used subtle marketing with the product βPrimeβ. No, when? He drank it and handed out freebies when the cameras were rolling which was broadcasted across the whole world - GREAT BRAND AWARENESS! π Secondly; those watching the fight would've been/included Prime's target audiences. It's not something anyone would think of while watching, but it was there right in front of their potential clients. So it will be interesting to see how over the next week how their sales numbers differ from last week. Clever Right?
Now, this fight took social media by storm. Why? You had two influential people/personal brands that are surrounded by other influential brands. One thing I noticed while watching the fight was that when given the background information on both fighters - one of Jake Paulβs was his Instagram follower count. The fact this was even highlighted shows the importance of how much voice one can have on socials.

1) Know your audiences inside and it. Where will they show up? Do you know what content type works better for them?
2) Subtle marketing works! You don't need to sit there and shout this is my product, buy it! It is marketed via showing up and maybe mentioning your services/product but not shouting it at them. It is subtle. For example, if you go to a shop to buy a product, do you want any unsolicited advice on what you should or shouldn't buy? Most of the time, no. So why should your marketing be any different? You should be showing people how your product/services work, how they can be the solution to their problem and gently nurture them with content to create trust and purchases.
