It’s time to improve your open rate!
The higher the open rate, the better. Why? A higher rate, can relate to higher brand awareness and conversions. Did you know the largest amount of my signs ups are from an email nurture programme? 63% of my signs ups come from email!
1) Add to address book Ask your subscribers to add your email to their address book so they can keep up to date.
2) Reply Ask your subscribers to reply to your welcome emails!
3) Be real Make sure you send your emails as a real person, so sign it off as you and include a picture of you or the company. This will also helps the rapport between you and the client.
4) Subject lines What do you do when it says include a lower case subject line? Do you ignore? Don’t, include this as well as preview text.
5) Content What content are you pushing out? Is it content they want to read, not what you think they would want to hear! If you are not sure, ask them ‘was this helpful?’.
6) Goodbye cold Fed up of emailing people who just ignore you? Ask them if they wish to unsubscribe. Don’t forget you pay for a certain amount of clients you are emailing. if they are in an unsubscribed list, they are still there as a lead but you’re not using money on them currently!
7) Easy Much like a website, make it user friendly and easy to navigate. You wamt them to do certain actions? Are your call to actions clear? Also unsubscribing needs to be easy to do!
